Changes

Well, many changes around here, primarily health-related. I contracted MRSA in late February and spent February, March, and April getting IV antibiotics (this germ is resistant to older antibiotics), mainly in the hospital and in acute care. I asked for a PICC line to make this IV stuff simpler, particularly at home, because I would go home at some point, but would have to continue the IV’s.

Today, I’m infection-free, and all of the abscesses are gone. The one that was on my spine appears to have caused some damage between L4-L5, and thus, I’m having back pain anytime I move. Still, I’m lucky to be alive. MRSA (look it up) can kill.

To treat myself, having gone through a lot, I traded in Matt’s car and, with all the available incentives, purchased a new one. It is so much better in so many ways: the ride, the FSD, the range. I probably will do another post about that. Still, there are plenty of YouTube videos from other owners discussing all the new features, so maybe not.
